A settlement with 319 apartments meets 50% of its annual warm water and heating needs from a large solar-thermal collector installation. A well-insulated seasonal cement heat storage center, which is unique in Europe, is hidden beneath a sledding hill.

The revolving Olympic Tower offers a magnificent view of the entire city. Below it lie not only the Olympic grounds and renowned sport stadiums, but also the distribution center of a large Bavarian car manufacturer which has a photo voltaic installation integrated into 8000 m2 of its roof.
