After a short introduction to waste management at the Solarturm, the pupils will find out why there is no country to beat Germany for waste management. The selective sorting of household waste includes paper, organic waste, glass and recyclable materials like metal, plastic and packaging.

In the end, the goal is to avoid producing waste when developing products as well as think up intelligent products – like some innovative enterprises already do – that would still remain usable technically or biologically.
