The spine of such a city is an attractive public transport system with modern vehicles and a simple rate system. Big events like football games or open-air concerts do not cause traffic chaos, because the ticket acts as transport ticket as well.
Is a Utopia being mobile without your own car? Recommendation: with good weather you go by bike, otherwise with "RegioKarte" (public transport).
